Mikko's Bio
Mikko Kemppe has been training the past 6 months with Couture Dance Alliance, a salsa team based out of San Francisco directed by the 10 time international salsa champion Luis Aguilar and current world salsa champion. In his own right with his new salsa partner Ashanti Griffin he recently came 4th in the San Francisco International Salsa Congress Professional On2 competition.
Who is the workshop for:
For all levels of Salsa Dancers.
From Absolute beginners to more Advanced salsa dancers
What you will need:
Open mind and readiness to have fun while learning more about how to dance salsa J. No partner is necessary.
What to wear:
Something casual and comfortable. Wear jeans and a shirt, a gym outfit, or whatever makes you feel comfortable. Dance shoes, or shoes with smooth bottom is recommended, but not necessary.
What you will learn:
1. Overview of Basic Salsa Steps, Rhytm, and Timing
2. Basic Salsa Foot Work/Shine Pattern
3. Leading and Following
4. Beginner and Intermediate Turn Patterns
